FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHY IS IT SO inexpensive?

With PDGM and reimbursement rates declining in home health, we believe providers deserve enterprise grade software at an affordable price. We’ve been able to automate the deployment of the HealthTrust platform, so we are now able to offer it at a substantial discount. Plus, we believe in home health and want to do our part to help providers heal the world.

We also eliminate as many unnecessary costs as possible. We don’t do spend thousands of dollars exhibiting at conferences. We don’t fly around the country doing sales presentations. We don’t even do demos (they are available free online anytime). So, we save a lot of money and pass those savings on to you.

WHEN WILL I BE BILLED?

You will be billed immediately for the activation fee. Starting on the 1st of the following month, you will be billed for your monthly plan, user fees, and usage fees.

 

WHO IS CONSIDERED A “USER”?

A user is any account that can access the system during the month. This would include regular office users, point of care clinicians, and PRN staff. You can inactivate users at any time to remove them from the user count.

User fees are “per user per month”.

Note: For PDN agencies (or any other company that has a higher nurse to patient ratio), we will charge you the lessor of “per user” or “per patient” so you always get the lowest licensing cost possible.

 

IS THERE A CONTRACT?

There is no contract. You can cancel the service at any time by simply sending an email to support@healthtrustsoftware.com.

 

WHAT DO I GET?

The entire system. Software that helps with patient management, employee management, scheduling, point of care, authorization management, order management, medical billing, ledger management, and reporting.

 

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?

Not really. You can choose to add on some modules (like secure faxing) that may have their own additional costs, but they are completely optional. You get access to all of the core features of the software. Oh, and clients with a billing address in Texas will also have 8.25% sales tax added (sorry, don't blame us for that one!).

You will need your own medical claims clearinghouse account. We directly integrate with Availity, Change Healthcare, Gateway EDI, and WayStar. For Medicare claims, we have an account with Ability.

* Note: Healthcare provider accounts will incur an additional $50 / month fee for use of the Lexicomp drug database. This feature is enabled by default.

 

DO I GET SUPPORT?

Your account comes with access to one of our Healthcare Advisors for 30 days. After that, you can contact our support team via email Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm Central Time.
